About Scott

Scott A. Breen serves as treasurer  and is on the firm's board of directors.  He is also the chair of the Business and Corporate and Real Estate practice groups.  He is also a member of the Hospitality and Alcohol Law practice group.  

Mr. Breen represents clients in the formation of tax planning, business entities, liquor licensing, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and all types of general business transactions.  He also represents clients in real estate matters such as commercial leasing, real estate sales and acquisitions, quiet title and mortgage reformation litigation, property tax appeals, and foreclosures.  Mr. Breen also assists lending institutions with loan documentation and workouts.

Mr. Breen is a frequent lecturer to legal practitioners and trade associations on a wide array of business, real estate and alcohol beverage law topics.  He has authored a number of articles for Michigan Licensed Beverage Association, Michigan Out-of-Doors Magazine, Michigan's Hooks and Bullets Magazine and various other legal publications.  Mr. Breen has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2010-2013.
