Motown and the Law: A Day of Networking

posted on September 09, 2016 by Willingham & Cote

Each year, the Sparrow Foundation and Women Working Wonders hosts a very special day for women entitled, “Kaleidoscope:  Reflect. Recharge. Reimagine .”  In the past, our firm has had individual attorneys attend but this year we decided to support the event more robustly by being a table sponsor.  This allowed us to invite more attorneys and clients to enjoy an incredibly educational, enjoyable and inspiring day.

In addition to attending informative breakout sessions on topics ranging from automotive design, Michigan notable authors and advances in 3D mammography, attendees were also mesmerized by the keynote speaker, Ms. Suzanne de Passe.

Ms. de Passe began her career at Motown Records as a creative assistant to company founder Berry Gordy. She subsequently rose to the position of President of Motown Productions, the television and film division of the company.  She also discovered the talented musical family, Jackson 5.  Thank you to our clients who attended and the wonderful event organizers.
