A Full Service Law Firm

"FULL SERVICE LAW FIRM" WHAT IS IT?  The phrase "full service law firm" is a phrase that is often heard but seldom understood.  A solo practitioner could be a full service law firm for an extremely simple legal problem.  Fortune 500 companies may find that a law firm with 300 attorneys is not a "full service law firm" for their needs.  A "full service law firm" is a firm that can handle virtually all legal needs including highly specialized expertise and identify those rare situations clients may face that requires expertise outside of what we handle within the firm.  In those situations, we are instrumental in helping clients find the specialized expertise they need.

"FULL SERVICE LAW FIRM" WHY USE ONE?  The law is so complex today that the general practitioners have been relegated to their place in history.  A full service law firm brings together talented and experienced lawyers to create, when necessary, a team that can evaluate and analyze a problem from all angles and assure the client that the proposed solution not only solves the immediate problem but does not run afoul of other aspects of the law.  A solo practitioner or a specialist may not even know such a solution exists.  There is a very practical reason for using a full service law firm such as Willingham & Coté.  We believe in having one lead attorney who is not only responsible for the delivery of legal services, but also has a broad understanding of the client's operation and needs.  The lead attorney is thus enabled to match the client with the correct attorney and have a better chance of evaluating the ramifications of legal actions as well as the practical needs of the client.

"FULL SERVICE LAW FIRM" WHAT KIND IS WILLINGHAM & COTÉ? While we handle matters ranging from admiralty to zoning, our primary areas of practice involve all areas of the law affecting businesses and associations employing from one to five hundred employees, financial institutions, real estate, development, construction, litigation, insurance and personal business matters such as estate planning, probate, trusts, business succession and elder law.  Many of our attorneys are recognized state wide as experts in these fields.
