James L. Dalton is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group

Mr. Dalton has been an attorney since 1979 and  has defended and tried hundreds of insurance and personal injury suits in courtrooms across the state. He currently focuses his practice on the defense of doctors, dentists, medical groups and other healthcare practitioners in medical liability/malpractice claims, as well as defending architects, accountants and other licensed professionals in professional liability and related claims. Additionally, Mr. Dalton counsels and advises health care professionals facing potential liability claims and has represented hundreds of defendants involved in personal injury accidents and automobile/insurance related claims in courts throughout Michigan.

Certified General Civil Mediator

When not focusing on his own caseload, Mr. Dalton is also experienced in Alternate Dispute Resolution, serving as certified general civil mediator in dozens of matters.
